Some of the species sold are listed in Appendix I or Appendix II of the Washington Convention (CITES), in Appendix A of European Community Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 and predate the application of the French Environment Code.

In accordance with the law, and more specifically with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996, a certificate of appraisal will be given to the future purchaser allowing the commercial use of this specimen in the EU. On the other hand, if the specimen is to be exported from the EU, a CITES re-export certificate will be required at the buyer's expense.
