Mahogany and brass veneered travel writing case, the interior revealing various pen and document compartments and a black leather-lined tray with gilded ornamentation of Greek friezes and fleurs-de-lis, the lid adorned with a brass plate inscribed "Albin Jaulmes / From / Tulse Hill School / Nov 2nd 1880". With key (lock not working) Late 19th century H. 17 cm; W. 39.5 cm; D. 24.5 cm Cracks and splits in the veneer, minor accidents to the wood and wear to the leather.
