[Archive. Anjou. 13th century]. Set of 2 manuscript archival documents on parchment, relating to a transaction concluded between the monks of Saint-Jean d'Angers and a certain knight of Saint-Père, concerning the occupation of a house located near the Hardouin bridge in Saumur.
1. Exploit, dated 1281 (16 x 19 cm.). - 2. transaction, dated 1282 (50 x 23 cm.). The two pieces are enclosed with a brown wax armorial seal (diam. approx. 5 cm.; the surround is missing). A transcription of both texts is attached.
