Gilded and chased bronze "à l'Amour jardinier" mantel set composed of a clock and two candelabras. The clock depicts a lover surrounded by agricultural implements and flowers, leaning on a bollard forming a dial. The dial features Roman numerals. The rectangular base features an Allegory surrounded by foliage, palmettes and candelabras. The whole rests on a rectangular base decorated with a frieze of ovals. Spherical base with frieze decoration. Wire movement. Dial signed (father) BOUCHET FABRE in Montpellier. The candelabras are decorated with putti bearing cornucopias, ending in four arms of light. Baluster shaft decorated with friezes. Palmettes base. Square-section base. Restoration period Pendulum - H. : 39 cm; W. : 26,5 cm; D. : 10 cm ; Candelabra - H. : 48 cm; W. : 17,5 cm; D. : 17,5 cm.
