BUCQUOY (Cdt.). The uniforms of the first Empire. Series 1 to 226. Collection of documentary cards in colour, most of them in publisher's envelope.
Important collection of its 226 series, almost complete with its numerous cards of uniforms plates of the Empire (The collection composed of postcards printed in black and then colored with stencil, appeared in various deliveries by subscription). Each series included 8 cards under envelope (some series have 9 or 10 cards). The cards are signed by the greatest specialists: Arts, Benigni, Fort, Hilpert, Bucquoy, Knotel, Toussaint, Malespina, Boisselier, Rousselot, Fort, etc. About half of the series are accompanied by their texts, some series are without the publisher's wrappers. The texts are attached: The horse hunters of the Imperial Guard, the cuirassiers, the headquarters, Murat the 2nd regt. of chevau-légers, the 19th dragons, the Franco-Italian troops, the 1st hussar, the Belgian chevau-légers of the duke of Arenberg, the elite gendarmerie, the guides of staffs
