DU BOIS. Topographical camps of the campaign of MDCCLVII, in Westphalia, begun by Mr. Le Maréchal d'Estrée, continued by Mr. Lec de Richelieu & finished by Mgr. Le comte de Clermont. With the journal of his operations & some other very curious pieces. The Hague, van Duren, 1760, in-4, oblong, marbled calf, spine ribbed, ornamented (worn binding, damage to spine, spines split). With a journal of operations from 1 April to 20 January 1720 (32 ff.), an order of battle of the army of Mr. Le Maréchal d'Estrées in 1757 (tears), with 49 plates of figured plans (out of 53), a map of the cantonments (half missing), a plan of Harbourg castle. Incomplete with pl. 18-19-20-21 and 2 additional maps. Some scattered foxing.
