Cellier, 1672. 3 parts in one volume in-folio, contemporary brown speckled calf, spine with 6 nerves, gilt title, ornamented caissons, speckled edges (repairs at head and tail of spine, 2 corners worn, staining and scratches on upper board; title soiled, freckles).
Edition illustrated with a full-page copper-engraved portrait of the author on the v° of the false title. (Garrison & Morton 2727 reports only the Frankfurt edition, 1674).
Provenance: monastery of the Holy Trinity of Fécamp (manuscript bookplate dated 1727 on the title). Two early documents have been added to this copy. Page 100 of the first part, ½ manuscript leaf pasted on the text: order to deliver to the prior of the abbey of Fécamp 24 bushels of wheat, emanating from the Directory of the district of Montivilliers, dated 1790, bearing several signatures including that of the mayor of Fécamp; and, pasted on the last f. of privilege, 3 pages in-4° handwritten, containing the answer of the administrators of the Directory of the district of Montivilliers, dated July 1791, to a request of the religious of the abbey of Graville.
