[Obstetrics]. LETTER from a citizen, lover of the public good, to M***, to serve as a defence of the mission of the lady Du Coudray, who trains midwives throughout the kingdom In Auxerre, from the Impr. of L. Fournier, [ca. 1777]. In-8, 24 p., 19th century plum half-basin, spine with 4 nerves, author, title, place and date gilt.
Published in response to Alphonse-Vincent-Louis Leroy's work, "La Pratique des accouchements...", in defense of Angélique-Marguerite Le Boursier Du Coudray. A modern note attributes the work to a certain Martin, apothecary.
